Luxury Vinyl Plank or Square Tile (LVT) style flooring
Used and purchased by: Shopping centres, & flooring retailers, subcontractors, Developers, new home builders, renovation businesses, Interior Designers, shopfitters, and other related trades and businesses.
Description:
- The Luxury Vinyl (LVT) flooring range can be light and thin (while retaining its durability) which helps with reducing building loads, or it can be thick and heavy for maximum durability.
- Traditional Vinyl has long been used for industrial and commercial applications (as “resilient floor finishes”) due to it being an economic and extremely durable (and moisture proof) product. With the introduction of LVT having more attractive timber look finishes (with 3D textures, plank and square sizes) and being waterproof, LVT has become an increasingly popular ‘timber flooring’ alternative that has become widely used in more ‘High End quality’ exposure commercial applications such as in selling areas of major fashion retailers, department stores and shopping centres as well as in hotel public spaces and residential homes.
- Due to LVT being flexible it can expand and contract to accommodate building settlement and movement better than other rigid flooring products.
- Due to Luxury Vinyl being waterproof, suitable for wet area applications such as kitchens and bathrooms and high humidity areas.
Available in 4 main categories:
- Dry Back – glue is required when laying
- Self Stick – peel back off and stick

- Loose Lay – where a honeycomb layer is added to the base for an anti-slip feature when laying, so glue is only required at edges, door thresholds and any high traffic point areas. Ideal for lease fit-outs, where a temporary floor is required, as it does not leave too much adhesive on the original floor
- Click joints – no glue required when laying, click joints are available in a variety of click options. The LVT Click range structure has a reinforced glass fibre layer for increased durability and is available with flexible or rigid core so that it can be installed directly over tiles without floor prep/skim coating.
